AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Journal of Scientific Research of the Banaras Hindu University (JSR-BHU) welcomes original contributions of fundamental/applied research in all branches of the theory and practice of pure and Applied Sciences (for example: Biochemistry, Bio-Technology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, Molecular and Human Genetics, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Zoology, and Other branches of science). In selecting manuscripts for publication, the editors place emphasis on the quality and originality of the work as well as the breadth of interest to the scientific community. JSR considers for publication only original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each issue of the journal, consist of the following sections:
(a) Earth Sciences
(b) Life Sciences
(c) Physical Sciences
Earth sciences include all fields of natural science related to the planet Earth. This is a branch of science dealing with the physical constitution of the Earth and its atmosphere. Earth science is the study of our planet's physical characteristics, from earthquakes to raindrops, and floods to fossils.
Life sciences comprise the branches of science that involve the scientific study of life and organisms – such as microorganisms, plants, and animals including human beings.
Physical sciences consist of the branches of science that study non-living systems, in contrast to life science.
The JSR-BHU shall cover developments of regional and global importance in all science disciplines and will retain in wide circulation. Articles are comprehensive, critical accounts of the solution of significant problems. Notes are concise accounts describing novel observations, new methods of wide applicability or interest, or focused studies of general interest. Notes differ from Articles in having a narrower scope. Articles attributed to JSR-BHU are innovative and of interest to broad audience of professional scientists. Articles shall include current reviews, new results from research, and discussion of the infrastructure of science techniques, research programme etc. In publishing only original research, JSR-BHU is committed to deterring plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. JSR-BHU uses standard plagiarism detection software to screen submitted manuscripts for similarity to published material. Note that your manuscript may be screened during the submission process.
